    Cross pin retaining bolt

Well I got it earlier today. We managed to get the driver side axle out by compressing the s-spring inside and exposing the c-clip, but the passenger side axle wouldn't give us the clearance we needed to pop the c-clip out. After hours of fiddling with that, in the heat of frustration, I...

    Cross pin retaining bolt

When we were taking everything out yesterday for the gear install, I was trying to be carefull with the retaining bolt since I'd read that they like to break and become a PITA, so I was backing it out fairly content since it was coming out smooth, and then it happens. Only it was just...

    Hilarious!

When I read you were checking for spark I thought you were going to say you gave yourself a good jolt like I have in the past. Ah, the memories. :rlaugh: Mine broke a while ago so I checked Oreilly's and lo and behold, they carry them. Although I did have to drive a good distance to get...

Wheels came in today, springs come tomorrow.

:rlaugh: That paints a funny picture in my mind. I used a long crow bar to pry it out slowly so that it wouldn't shoot out and hit me or the car.

Clock and radio won't shut off even with key out ?

Maybe the ignition wire is hooked up to a 12v lead instead. Did you install it yourself or spice the harness together yourself?

Haha, sorry mengs, I just did it so that it's easier for people to know which one is mine, and my old sig was still in the red/white scheme. Did you find the full res pic? This was the original pic. Oh, thanks for the compliment. :flag:

    Lets Play NAME THAT CONNECTION!!!

When I pulled mine, the easiest way for me to tell was to mock it up to the car and since they were bent for so long, they kind of kept the shape of its original positioning from the car, and from this, I was able to imagine the engine back in and tell what they plugged into.

    New game plan

I believe it's an older block 69-73, but I have to double check with him. It's not bored or decked or anything, so everything should be fine. He removed and notched the stock crank, but I'm not interested in it; I'm going to use the one that comes with the stroker kit. I'm planning on...

    New game plan

Well guys, not too long ago I had my car painted, pulled the engine, threw in a steeda #19 cam, ported the upper and lower intake, bbk shorties, etc etc, and now, I have a hankerin for more power. I was planning on blower, and then I threw the idea of a 331 or a 347 stroker around, but now...

What's the difference between the Cobra and GT Crank Pulleys?

I wouldn't know man, sorry. I've never had experience with aftermarket UD pulleys nor did we get a chance to compare an UD pulley to my stocker.

What's the difference between the Cobra and GT Crank Pulleys?

Its a smaller diameter pulley. Pretty good size difference when punisher302 compared his stock one with mine.

    Lower shift boot question?

It also reduces noise inside the car as well ask keeping dirt/water/other road debris from splashing up on the shift boot or into the shifter base. I once had a rock bounce up and get stuck in the base, keeping me from going into 4th gear.
