Noisy Hydraulic Lifters - Any Fix Ideas ?

Admittedly, I've only owned 3 big lift hyd. roller motors but besides being able to hear them with the hood open, I wouldn't define it as noisy at all. D:Hearne et al, I bow to your experience but in his other post he calls it noisy as a diesel. No way! A buddy has a Rousch 342RE that makes very...

Nice clean work and not a lot of weights on the inside for that big a rim/tire: Looks nice on there! Ride height not set yet though.

in car video of my turbo fastback-finally

Hehe, 10secgoal wanted me carbed too. But you WILL bow to the gods of EFI! :hail2: I'm going EFI (BigStuff3) and also got an electronic boost controller for insurance and driveability. Got an HKS EVC VI as it also allows for boost settings in relation to RPM and speed. Again more driveability.

With coilover setups, why not relocate the LCA too?

The current setup stays, the AJE is for a new car. And yes, I need a bit more space to run headers forward to meet the turbo. But the main reason is that the AJE setup saves a lot of weight up front and takes some load of those poor front tires. It also gives us the possibility to move the...

    Switching to EFI!!!

Once you get used to laptop tuning you're going to love it! Never got the stalling under max braking and right turns out of my trick 750DP. With EFI it's just a non issue. Looking forward to hearing about the Accel software. Rumor has it it's good but I've never heard it first hand. My setup...

With coilover setups, why not relocate the LCA too?

To the first Q: yes the LCA should be operating just +/- around perfectly level on a strut coil over suspension to avoid the "inferior" camber curve these setups have. Someone mentioned a K-member and that's exactly what I'm using on my new build. Get rid of the original crossmember, get an...
