    You could probably be able to bolt it up but the 3.8 T-5 is much weaker than the 5.0 T-5. And if it's a 96 that was when they changed to the T-45 and I not sure if it will bolt up to a T-5 bellhousing.

    6250 is the fuel cut out. I would say actual redline would be a little lower than that. Probably more like 5800rpm.

    I have the exact same problem and I cannot figure out what it is either. Mine is in the same rpm range and does it in neutral and with the clutch in or out it does not matter. Mine can also be felt through the steering wheel. Anybody got any ideas?
