    My engine blinging project

Thought I'd share my engine dress up project. I have only polished the intake and alternator so far. But valve covers and brackets will follow this weekend. Should look nice when done. Any opinions on painting the engine block with yellow? I have some paint left over from my engine bay...

    Color sanding?

Color sanding is a process of using really fine grit sand paper as stated above and wetsanding the finish. Then you buff it back out to a new car-like shine.

anyway to knock down orange peel without colorsanding?

Maaco painted my mom's car while it was DIRTY! There's dust and crap all under the paint!! But it's glossy for now.. I've colorsanded some pretty crappy paintjobs that were even cheaper than Maaco jobs and it works out well.. But I don't know any way to accomplish orange peel removal...

I'm going with 05 Screaming yellow myself, so far I've done the engine compartment with it and it looks awsome!

Any other 95 gt have 3:27's in it.

Too bad you don't live near by, I'd trade you the entire rear end assembly. I want 3.73's!

Buying a S-trim, what other accesories to get?

Some good info.. I'm planning to purchase the same setup. According to alot of people, with the complete kit, you don't necessarily have to get injectors/MAF because the FMU will simulate the larger parts. I know we have to be careful with our cast pistons in the stock blocks so I won't...

Trade secrets man!! j/k The tight angles are very tricky and take alot of time. I use a host of equipment and supplies to get the finish I need. I sand up to 320 grit via equipment, then 400 wet by hand. It's a process and I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get a much better finish than...
