    O/R h-pipe Install Tips

You may be surprised how much stronger you can be with a larger rachet.......its worth a shot. I'd hate to see you pay someone to do this for you, once you get past a couple of stubborn bolts, you'll cruise thru it.

To those 'Stang owners with CORSA exhaust

My Corsas with a Pypes offroad H pipe just plain rip at WOT. I don't know how else to describe it. The tone is not too low, and not too high. The volume at constant speed is nice and pretty darn quiet. But when you get on it, it's pretty darn loud. An offroad X will probably sound both a...

    O/R h-pipe Install Tips

    Spinach?? Seriously though, if you're using a 3/8" rachet, try a 1/2".

    O/R h-pipe Install Tips

One more important tip........as always when working in the garage over the weekend, be sure to stay properly hydrated. I find that 3 to 4 twelve ounce bottles of brew do the trick. As a substitute, cans may be used in place of bottles. Tom

    O/R h-pipe Install Tips

Bigcat- good point about the tips moving........I forgot about that one.

If you have off road H or X pipes...

The SLPs will be LOUD LOUD LOUD with the offroad H. I've read several threads about people trying the combo, and if I remember correctly everyone took it back off, or swapped out their mufflers for something else. It's like running straight pipes right off the stock manifolds!

    O/R h-pipe Install Tips

Sure........best tip I can give you is to unplug the O2 sensors at their harness connections, and drop the stock H with the sensors still in the pipe. Then R&R them into the new pipe and install the new pipe with them in place. By doing this, you won't need to worry so much about wires binding...

To those 'Stang owners with CORSA exhaust

Ohh man, I was just giving ya a hard time, that's all. You're not being a PITA at all, you know that. Truth is, I debated for MONTHS before I purchased; I remember what that's like and I hate to think that other people are doing the same thing, when they could be enjoying their new found...

To those 'Stang owners with CORSA exhaust

No offense, but order it already!!:D Enough debating........I highly, highly doubt that you'll be disappointed. It won't be much louder at idle, will be noticeably louder and meaner at WOT, and dead silent when cruisin' down the hiway. 'Nuff said.

    Steeda or Roush UDP's?

I don't know what the difference would be exactly (if any) but its Roush so you know it will still be good quality. I'm tempted to try out the Motoblue pullies- cheap and still SFI approved with the balancer.

    WHERE IS THE NEXT 30HP???

I heard that..........I can't justify a nitrous kit at this time either. Tempting, very tempting, but not for me.
  18. tom281

    WHERE IS THE NEXT 30HP???

Don't forget about nitrous........if you want to add 100 horse for about $700.

    WHERE IS THE NEXT 30HP???

I'm not familiar with how often you have to have emissions inspections in Cali, but I can tell you that an offroad H or X pipe will add about 10 horse. But even then, if you add a pipe like that to your SLPs, watch out! That thing will be LOUD. I mean LOUD :jaw: ! Some other people might...

Corsa exhaust install on an '06 'Vert

I've been a diehard Borla fan for years. Recently though I switched to Corsa for the S197 platform, and I couldn't be happier. No regrets with the Corsa system at all!!
