    Trick flow twisted wedge and stage 1 cam. That's about it. Notching or replacing pistons opens up a whole new world. 86's vs 87's have a smaller 58MM throttle body 87's have a 60mm 86's have a smaller upper intake, and egr plate as well. http://www.foureyedpride.com/ for more info:D

    You have people who have 86 Motors with 58MM TB's, small upper intakes, and E6 heads. A newer stock motor IS an improvement!!!!!!!!!!!:D I have a 20 year old 86 FI motor, E6 heads. 200hp rated and 285lbs torque. At 166,000 miles....NO rebuild!!! 225hp and 300 lbs is an improvement!!!!
