No, it's not an exhast leak. It sounds like someone hit the block with a tack hammer twice, then again a 1-3 seconds later. The time between the pairs of clicks vary, even though the engine is idling at the same rpm. Sounds like something is loose.
The "pairs" are even, but the time between the pairs is not. I've never heard THAT before. Hopefully, everyone will be awake soon, and someone can help you.:nice:
I know what you mean, but this showroom could easily hold 15-20 cars. (the dealer building used to be a Home Depot. I guess times are just tough, maybe so tough that can't afford to occupy such a large facility, and they are liquidating their inventory.

Yeah, and it's not the dealer closest to my house, it's the one I bought the car from right off the showroom floor. Literally.
It had a whopping 8 miles on the odometer...*sigh*
Damn, now I'm pissed. I just checked the vin# under the windshield, AND the doorsill, in a lighted garage and a maglite, and the # is correct. Aaaagggh!
