    i had the same problem, turned out that the flywheel had hot spots and cracks in it...got it re-surfaced and have never had the problem again..might want to check that out

    how old are the current leaf springs...i just replaced my original leaf springs with stock new ones and it raised the rear a substantial amount....much better now:SNSign:

    I ran into the same problem with the 14 inch rims and finding the widest tire possible. The only solution is to go with a bigger rim, which in the end will look better anyways. I just got new 15 by 7 and 15 by 8 sport star rims....as far as the car goes, shoot its a ford, its got a v8 and goes...

    My choices for the rear are: 235 70 r15 255 70 r15 225 70 r15 the rims in the rear ar 15 by 8 with 4.00 backspacing....let me know which will fit the best so I can get the ordered..thanks guys
