    With the core we are using for this conversion box changing the ratio is not possible. Internally the box is 4 turns lock-to-lock however on the car running bump stop to bump stop is only 3-1/2 to 3-3/4 turns.

    Your 1989 5.0 pump should operate our conversion box just fine. I would need to know the high pressure fitting size on your pump to get you the proper hose kit.

    Starting from the column: Rag Joint Steering Box Inner / Outer tie rod ends Idler Arm. That takes you right up to the spindles.

    68 P/S Pitman arm work on Manual Conversion?

    If you use a drag link adapter instead of swapping to a M/S centerlink you could re-use your pitman arm. Drag link adapters thread on to your existing P/S centerlink in place of the control valve.
