    Need info on tuning up an old 5.0 engine in an F-150

    I've heard both good and bad about changing the tranny fluid on the AOD. Some people say they have burnt them up right after the swap. I don't know. When I had my 89 crown vic with the 5.0, I did pretty much what you said, just basic tune up stuff. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, check fluids...

    That looks like some fun. I mostly sail but I have the 19' Chris Craft for cruising purposes. How far are you from Mac and Ray's? My grand parents used to keep their boat over that way. Good fishing on Lake st. clair.

    I have always liked Linkin Park and Sevendust too. Some may say that Linkin Park sucks, but you gotta admit, they were pretty damn original when they came out. Even the Re-animation CD was good and usually remix CD's suck.

    I'm on your side with the wind power! The 27 footer has that damn Atomic Four and the Chris Craft has the 4.3liter that I just finished up on. Man, I miss the days of trailer sailers! I did just sell the 22 footer though! Time to get a new laser!:nice:
