    mine were bolted in and welded and I think it took about 1 andhalf hours on lift. its pretty easy for lowers. upper boxes on my car were torn so took a little more effort but it doesnt appear you are doign that.

    por15 makes good coating for gas tank...well i think its actually U.S. STANDARD TANK SEALER but I used it on my stock sumped tank and it was real easy to do and affordable and worked well.

    buying an 8.8 assembly with 373's. quick question

    if you plan on running the car at a track anytime in near future with stock axles and that 8.8 you should look into some c-clip eliminators as well while you have the rear end out of the car..its alot easier to do...if you run aftermarket axles or bearing ends then you wont need them..just my .002

    P/S pump or r&p gone bad?

    replace it...the rack and pinions do go bad...I think the fluid passage in the rack get plugged up or something..rancho cordova has them for pretty cheap at recycle road...your pump also might be plugged up to the rack. I have had similar problems before and dont know what else to look for but...
