    The problem with buying a used performance car with 15,000 on it is that you have no idea how bad the previous owner THRASHED it, especially once he decided to trade it in! May be a case of "Let the buyer beware". At least you have a warranty to fix the thrashing.

    I'm 57 but I've owned, wrenched on and driven Mustangs CONTINUOUSLY since I was a teenager! How many of you can say that? BTW, after all the Mustangs I've had the pleasure to own, drive and work on; the S197 GT is the absolute best of them all :nice:

    HELP!!!

    Take some clearcoat safe polishing compound with a soft cotton cloth and see if that removes the marks. That has worked for me in th epast for these kind of things. Kit and Meguires make good ones that don't scratch and you can get them at Wally World or Advance Auto Parts.

    Three years (but it seemed like a lifetime to me then). I was 13 when I saw my first one at a Ford dealer in April, 1964. It wasn't until November, 1967 when my butt was finally in one. Haven't been without one since :nice: Yeah, I'm a true Mustang guy!

    Totally and completely normal. That's the nature of disc rotors. If it bothers you just drive to the end of the block and back and they'll be nice and shiny. Not to worry.
