    Accufab makes some good products.But it depends on your budget. As far as mounts the stock ones are fine.I ran stock mounts for years with NO issues even making 600+rwhp .Why spend the extra money and get more vibrations ?

    What kind of spark plugs is everyone running?

    N/a car stick with standard plugs (ngk,autolite,motorcrafts).Iridiums are OK but are not worth the money. N/a for years i ran autolite 764's ,when i went blown i went motorcrafts .. Stay away from platinums they are NOT A performance plug.

    Well for the money ,you could have shopped around for a good set of heads.I got my peformers for 600.00.. As far as good cam .I love the xe270hr-14. Little lope great power band and is easy in traffic.

    92k plus the age of the car.I would replace them ,im betting they are shot. The mac cover have the cap bolts? How tight were the bolts torqued for the caps?

    How many miles on them(stock bushings).Mine "looked" ok at 200k but when i applied pressure(screw driver in the bolt hole).I could see the cracks in the bushings). what type of rear cover did you install?

    MOre lift but if you are still running stock springs esp with higher mileage on them.THe 1.7RR's will actually COST you horsepower.

    You installed the hd uppers without the bushings? DId you torque them up in the air or with the car sitting on the suspension? It could have helped finish off the bushings if they were torqued will the rear end was hanging.

    Have you checked the upper axle bushings?They will get worn and cause a pop noise because they will get worn enough to hit the mounting ring.

    Get it TUNED..Matched mafs are old school and work SOMETIMES.. Most older 5.0 guys say there is a issue.But its about getting everything to work together.. A/f gauge stuck on the o2 sensor is no more than a pretty light show.Want to know real a/f get a wideband thats the only way to PROPERLY...

    It really depends..A good H/C/I 5.0 will eat a n/a (2v)4.6 ..Not based on power alone but they are also lighter.. You should see the torque curve of a mod motor vs a good h/c/i car..The 5.0 wins that hands down. Based on MOST 5.0 owners throw on a few parts and think its the fastest thing...

    Thats the correct way MOST of the time. But the fms d/s do not have a marking on the flange.There is no need to "phase match" the alum d/s because it is better balanced than the stockers. Ive had mine out many times with no vibrations noted (no marking).
