    Ive run a moroso cai,conical air filter and the stock air box.All made the SAME power..Why spend money if you dont have to.. But hell my STOCK air box is supporting 300rwhp just fine.

    what kind of exhaust on the car? when i went from coated fms shorites and a o/r pipe to bbk longtubes(recoated inside and out because the stock coating sucks) and had my o/r hpie coated .It cut down the heat from the cetner console in HALF of what it use to be..Hell on a 5hour trip center...

    Actually even if the alignment was dead on before a C/Plate install .Most will notice that after a c/c plate install and using the mm specs they proved.The added caster will make a dramatic difference in steering response over a stock plated car.

    Before playing with the tune.Try cleaning your maf.It can get dirty and cause the same thing. Just pull off the maf clean down inside it with some electrical contact cleaner,let it dry then reinstall.See how it drives ,if it still pings THEN play with the tune.

    Why wont they fit(cobra struts on a gt)? I had them on my 99 gt.Pulled them straight off my buddies 04 cobra and bolted them straight on..The REARS wont fit because the cobra has a IRS but the fronts fit perfect.But the rears fit mine because i also had a cobra IRS.

    Using a 50amp fuse on a 80amp draw can be a issue..Thats why there are controllers for this.The dcc is one of the best to stop voltage "spikes" when the fan comes on.

    best bet is to find out what YOUR local tuner uses.That way if you need some changes made then you will be able to do it without waiting. I personally use SCT stuff(i have the prp package but still like the final tweak done by a tuner).

    Installed granatelli cops on my 99 and picked up a good bit.Stock cops would allow mine to get over 4500(only 5k on the cops),installed the new coils and could go to 6700 easily. There have been proven gains on power adder and n/a cars.Just not sure if everyone wants to spend that kind of money.

    Shorty headers are a WASTE even if they are FREE..Changed mine YEARS ago and netted a whole ZERO horsepower gain over the stockers(n/a days).. Went longtubes and gained 15rwhp and about 20rwtq(give or take because it was YEARS ago i did this). Also if you go longtubes the car will be QUIETER...

    lol the only thing that did was lighten your pocket book.. Ive use the stock ford pump for YEARS on my 99 and never had a cooling issue (even shifting it at 7k).
