    most taxi's and police cars (Crown Vics) use the 4.6 and rack up well over 200k without major issues and get BEATEN on i'd say they're fairly reliable

    i needed to remove the control arms this past weekend to install Steeda balljoints and just pryed the ****er up and out of the way (not recommended) kind of a bitch so actually loosening the steering shaft and pulling the rack all the way out is probably your best bet

    stangsuspension.com has all the spacers you'll need and longer moroso studs but as mentioned before, wheels spacers and DR's?:shrug: best thing to do is send me your wheels and tires and buy some new ones:nice:

    it's been a few years but when i lived in Houston i would drive back home on holidays. i think it was 380 miles driveway to driveway and i'd still have a 1/4 tank, well over 400 miles a tank and close to 30mpg, 5spd on cruise at 70

    #7 is the tensioner in the pic, all you need is a 3/8 ratchet or breaker bar to replace the belt and it takes about 2 min. just install it the same way as in the pic silverbullett posted

    all Mustang pics in this thread < meh. i could throw on some 16in. black steel rims and accomplish the same thing for about $120. just a black empty space with no detail to it whatsoever:shrug: BUT... whenever someone asks about wheels i ALWAYS encourage them to go with black...

    tell your dad to lose the grilles. they look like absolute garbage and "cheapen" the whole look of the car somehow a :nice: on the stripes. something a little different but not over the top and for ****'s sake buy a better camera, please (not joking or being sarcastic in any way)

    my bilsteins had an 8mm hex on the very top of the strut shaft to use as a counter-hold while i used a 21mm wrench to tighten the nut i ran into the same problem you did when i tried to use my impact alone

    $295 is quite a bit for changing some plugs (that aren't required at 45k) at 45k i'd recommend a coolant, brake and trans flush, new fuel filter, oil change and a rotate and balance the air filter, spark plugs and pcv you can easily change yourself

    if you were so inclined you could unbolt and drop the rear axle about a foot and remove the stock catback in one piece just cut the old one off
