Progress Thread The next "big" project for my Cobra - T-top conversion coming soon!

You would be amazed at what a Clay Bar and then a good polish would do for that paint.

Electrical In theory what ELECTRICALLY kills TFI modules?

This helps explain why Holley EFI systems want you to use Solid State relays and recommend input protection modules for items like Trans Brake and Nitrous Solenoids.

    Fox Xtremely high fuel consumption

Anyone here have a car that can tell them what their "Instant Economy" is? Take that car for a spin and drive it in a manner that results in 9ish mpg, and then try and keep it there. It ain't easy to maintain that pace. My 89' Mustang had a 331 cid S/C engine. Bigger heads, cam. injectors and...

    Fox Xtremely high fuel consumption

So, come clean then. What information is missing that we have not seen yet? What was the solution? Or is this just an Epic Troll?

    Fox Xtremely high fuel consumption

Something is off in this whole scenario. It just does not track. A 306 getting only 9ish mpg should have a much bigger trail of evidence showing up. There is some important information missing.

    WTB AFR 165 Heads for a 351w

If I remember correctly, Engine Masters did an episode with a 351 W and AFR 165 heads. It made a surprising amount of power. Everyone was blown away. The torque numbers were great as well. Found the episode, and it is a 410 cid Windsor no less. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqeDuOZtYPs

Picked up a new project - 1993 Coupe

I don't know much about turbo's, but the ones you have are really holding you back. Only 20 hp per lb of boost? Not that good. All thing considered, for what they cost, you are getting max performance out of them.

    Differential noise over bumps

Normal. There is always clearance for these things. Some are tighter, some are looser. You could try a new "C" clip. Measure the old one and measure a new one. Maybe the new one is a few thou thicker. I suppose that the "C" clip groove in the axle shaft is worn, but not likely and the "C" clip...

Progress Thread 74 Mustang II - Build as semi-daily driver

A front air dam is hardly "experimenting" Virtually ever car/truck ever made in the last 40+ years has a front air dam on it. It is a proven way to keep air from getting under the vehicle, which helps stability and improves fuel efficiency.

Anyone Extrude Hone or Flow Bench Speed Pro Heads?

A 210 cc head on a 435 Windsor on NOS at 8K rpm is not going to work. (well) Can it spin 8K with that head, sure, but it will be done at 7-7,200 if not sooner and dropping off fast.

    Enclosed car hauler

Or set the trailer up with a winch so you can pull the vehicle in without having to be in the car. That's what I did. I jack the trailer up in the front so the car will roll out on it's own when I want to unload. Obviously still attached to the winch in reverse. I thought about the personnel...

    Enclosed car hauler

I have a 24' enclosed. After dealing with my friends 20' enclosed with a 93 Foxbody, I decided I wanted a 24' when I bought my own trailer. It was the best decision I ever made. That extra 4' make all the difference in the world. I special ordered mine so it had 3 axles. I wanted that extra set...
