    New Update: The problem was the IAC. Put the 65mm back on and replaced IAC and it idles fine --- for about 1 minute Then it dies. Start it up and it idles for a minute -- then dies. Any ideas? Miss was the timing.

    Put stock TB back on (including Electronics) and the idle has stabalized. Now all I have is a slight miss. What steps do I take to diagnose a miss?

    Ok. I swapped out the 65mm FMS throttle body (including electronics) and put the stock one back on. The idle has stabalized (although I have a slight miss). So I would assume it was either the IAC or TPS on the 65MM TB causing the problem -- even though both were replaced. Guess I will...

    Ive tried 2 different TPSs with the same results. Logged the voltages on a tweecer and they looked ok. Im really stumped. Any other ideas?

    Ok, Still havent had a chance to get over to my son's garage with my Computer but had him check the voltage of the TPS with a multimeter. The result does not seem possible. He is saying that the Voltage on the test lead is 13v. That cant be possible unless there is a short to the 5volt lead...

    Tried it with stock Maf and stock throttle body. no difference. checked for vaccum leaks with spray. Nothing found... :bang:

    Disconnected the battery each time we made a change. Didnt make a difference...

    So help me understand why, with the new IAC, the car idles at 3000 rpm -- and when I put the old IAC back on -- the car dies. Even with the idle stop backed all of the way out with the new IAC, the car Idles at 3000 rpm.

    OK, it was suggested on another forum that the IAC may be bad -- so I went and replaced it and I seem to be digging myself in deeper and deeper. Now the Car idles at 3000 rpm with the idle stop backed all the way out -- with or without the IAC connected. Any ideas???

    ITs not just the idle though. Trying to drive it, it runs like **** with no power and running rough. Makes me want to put it out of its misery...:bang:
