    Besides the 3 bolts you already removed, the part is just held by 2 clips i think. Just pull it a bit but be careful, AZ cars tend to have brittle interior plastics. :rolleyes: BTW, what's the use for this black metallic part?

    Sorry for the hijack, but what's this part called? It's like a reinforcement bar that goes from the lower part of the radiator support to the upper part (hood latch). Is it truly necessary or can I just toss it?

    Why don't you take a look at the MASS carpets from 5.0 Resto (they have extra padding for noise reduction). :shrug: I've heard plenty of good comments from those. I'm actually saving up to get one and change my porno red carpet for a black one. :D

    Amen to what Makdaddymac wrote! It's all about modifying your car just the way you imagine it/want it. I don't mean to hijack this thread but I always thought that the "S" shaped shifter in the Fox auto T-Birds looked awesome. As a matter of fact I swapped one into my '90 Mustang. I'll get ya...
