    Throttle help

I would say to check and make sure all of the clamps on the air intake tube are tight and you don't have a situation where you're drawing in more air than what is reading thru the MAF Sensor. Check all of your electrical connections too!

    Throttle help

What are your stored or active DTC's? This should lead you in the proper direction. BTW, what does the "Wrench" light mean? I always thought the "Check Engine" light came on when there was a problem.

how much off for a salvage title?

I would find out whay it was recalled under the lemon law. Do your homework because you may find that the car really never had any major problems, well except for the anal bastard that may of owned it. The other thing I would also do is to compare the price that is listed in KBB and NADA...

06 gt sluggish as hell!! help

Is the CE light coming on? If not, I would still check to see if there are any stored codes. I would start by looking at the areas that you just worked on, fuel filter (did you install it with the flow arrow pointing in the right direction?), throttle body area, and Air Filter area. Check all...

how much off for a salvage title?

I think it's pretty normal for Previous Salvage cars to be sold for Trade-in Value. Whenever I fix a rebuilder, I always try to buy the car, make all of the necessary repairs, list the car at trade-in value, and still try to make $1K. I know there are people out there that try to sell previous...

how to raise the passenger seat

I seem to remember this question being asked a couple of years ago? I'm guessing that you never came up with anything. The easiest thing that I can think of would be to add some sort of riser above the seat brackets and on bottom of the seat frame. You could bolt this to the seat and then...

    2006 V6 Conv

Here are some things that I could think of, but you'd have to look at the costs. Do they make Underdrive Pulleys for V6's, if so, I would get them. I know there are Aluminum Driveshafts available for V6's, that's an option. Headers and possibly an off-road H or X Pipe. These...

    First 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 4V In The 10's N/A!

That is quite impressive. I was reading thru some of the comments and I like all the haters of the new 5.0. IMO they're a bit jealous and scared!:D Run, run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the 5.0 coyote man!

    Gas Tank Draining?

What I have always heard in the past is the best thing to do before you store a vehicle is to keep the tank as full as possible. That way there isn't room left in the tank for condensation. However, if you wanted to drain the tank you could disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter, then...

    Unresponsive Throttle

If the Dealer didn't look for DTC's, then shame on them. That's the easiest thing that you can do to help diagnose a problem.

    OWNed in the parking lot

Maybe this isn't a real lambo, it's one of those Fiero Body Kits! :D If it is a real lambo, then he needs to shop at Kohls, he needs some gas money to get home and they circled his savings in Red on his coupon.

    Aluminum Driveshaft question

Ok, so I've done some searching thru the forums and haven't quite found the answer that I'm looking for. Here is my question: I want to get an Aluminum Driveshaft but not sure what can be done with a lowered car (Eibach Pro-Kit). I see several driveshafts can be ordered with a Pinion Flange...

    OWNed in the parking lot

I wouldn't feel bad, someone's got a complex about something that they're lacking. Ha, that's what I would say about it anyway.

    Unresponsive Throttle

Humm, sounds like maybe a crank or cam position sensor issue. However this should create a DTC. Long cranking usually indicates a problem with one of them, because it takes more rotations for the computer to figure out where everything is. I think these cars have two methods to knowing...

    Unresponsive Throttle

I would be taking it back to the Service Center and tell them it's not fixed and you're not paying for the Throttle Position Sensor. It sounds like you're having a problem with the communication between the foot pedal and the throttle. I don't know this specific system, but this is how I...

    Brenspeed dyno days

Yes, those numbers are read at the wheels not the crank. Usually a good number to use as a % loss through the drivetrain is 17%. So if the stock Mustang is rated for 300 hp at the crank, that equals approx. 250 hp at the wheels. I guess the point that I wanted to make is you're at 300 rwhp...

    New tire question...

Humm, very good question and I would like to see the answer vs. what I think. My thoughts are the psi ratings are based on the car, car weight. But honestly, I don't think I've ever heard of a passengar car requiring more than 36 psi.
