    car runs hot

People don't bypass the heater core for kicks. They do it normally because it leaks and/or is blocked. Bypass the core and see if you're still having issues.

    5.0 PCV system with supercharger

You would need a PCV designed for boost from a mid 80's thunderbird turbo coupe (4 cyl turbo) or one from a Toyota Supra. I believe the part # is EV127 for the turbo coupe one but don't quote me on that. Also if you're running EFI, you need to disconnect the line that goes to the throttle body...

    5.0 PCV system with supercharger

Running a PCV. I never popped a dip stick but I did leak oil out the rear main seal. I just upgraded the PCV to one from a turbo coupe so hopefully it will seal tighter than the stocker. Maybe the rear main will stop leaking? Remains to be seen. BTW, seeing 10lbs boost with a V1.

What kind of mess has a P.O. left for you?

I found a rat's nest in the back seat! The previous owner must have known about it. He said he had had the car professionally detailed when I pick it up, but all they did was try to mask the urine smell with a ton of air freshner and vacuumed only the visible parts of the carpet. When I pulled...

What a day... :( poor mustang

You get to keep the car? Blessing in disguise. Now you have the money to paint the car. The damage looks minimal. Remember, it's not like these bodies and panels were like perfectly straight arrows from factory. I say fix it! Sure you can get a hatch, but what's cooler than a convertible?:nice:

It may be that my reading comprehension skills are lacking, but is the OP not saying that 170 is too hot? Am I missing something here?

new to site and stangs... few mod questions

The 94-95 MAF will require an adaptor to bolt on. I'm not sure how easily available said adaptors are so you might have to custom make one to fit. With the suspension you have to think about what direction you're going with the car, whether it's strictly a track car or whether it'll be...

    Difference between 89 and 90-93

Wasn't the new apron design introduced in 91 along with the pony wheels? I've got a 1990 coupe and always thought I had the smaller wheel wells as anything larger than a 225 tire seems to rub when the wheel is turned fully.
