    You miss the point. I would not want to get rear-ended in my Lincoln by a Suburban. Some of the slower cars had better power to weight ratios than the little Elise. I personally appreciate the minimalist attitude of the Elise.

    My Favorite.. 2005 Lotus Elise Sport 1.8L I4 190 13.3 102.9 MT Makes me laugh that a 1.8L with 190 HP beat out some pretty big names like Corvette and GTO and yes, many Mustangs too. It was the only car with less than 200 HP on the entire list. Good stuff

    Odd... Look at the top of the shock towers. Where are the top of the shocks? Coil overs still poke through in the classics and are visible from the top of the shock towers.

    In the 60's, Ford made a couple of "Promo" models. They were only given to buyers of cars and they were made of plastic. I have found 67/68 coupes in this form but if you find one in good shape, it will cost big $$$
