    front end squeak when turning wheel - rack and pinion?

    I had a squeek from the front end and couldn't figure it out. I finally did. I pulled the rack bolts out one at a time and lightly greased the bolts down the entire length. Stopped my squeek! 'Course my car was 6 months old.

    True. IF you use motorcraft filters. Some of the ppl that use K&N filters at ten bucks a pop it would pay to get. 10/150=15. 15*5,000=75,000 Everyone has their own opinion on this topic. No matter what other people say, you're not going to change their minds :p

    This might be expensive, but I'm sure it's way better than all of the paper filters, plus you won't ever have to buy another filter! It's the 8400 series Filter I'm going to get a quote for this just to see how much.

    I just installed the MGW shifter today. It replaced my tri-ax that has been on since new(10k miles). The MGW piece is way better and I would recommend that one for anyone looking for a shifter. Shifts are butter smooth and quiet. No tranny noise at all.

    I found that if I left the vent switch on any setting other that the off position when I turned off the car, the vents started stinkin. I turn off the vent every time I turn off the car and my vents don't stink. :shrug:
