Funny...I live in Mechanicsburg, but grew up between Kennett Square and Unionville. I was just at WC a couple of weeks ago, checking out the college campus (for my son).

    teflon tape?

I always used the terms interchangeably. I've also heard "thread dope" and "dope tape". Maybe there is a REAL "teflon" tape, and if so, I hope it's better at high temps than the stuff I'm used to. That oil pan is gonna get pretty hot.

If you're in Dauphin or Cumberland County, fer sure. And Perry still doesn't have a traffic light. Born in the Main Line 'burbs of Philly, now living near Harrisburg.

Got the new set of lights in this evening. With xenon bulbs. I'll take pics tomorrow and post 'em.

    Floor switch(es) for operating windows

I was gonna comment on how old school that was. My '69 Dodge Dart and '71 Plymouth Fury (my old man was a Mopar guy) both had them.

    Spoiler

I thought so. I always laugh at the ricers with the huge wings on the back. Dude, it's a front drive car, and if you get any downforce at all from that thing, it'll actually make your car drive worse!

    Floor switch(es) for operating windows

It'll only be cool if you also put in switches to honk the horn and flash the headlights. :D

    Headlight Question

I have a similar issue. Plus, I have some rather nasty discoloration happening around the weatherstripping in the headlight assembly: Rather than screw too much with them, I decided to just head to Ebay and get a new set.

    Washed engine, now running rough

The only problem with WD-40 is that while it works to displace water, it promotes the adhesion of more dirt, which could eventually cause more electrical issues. Go ahead and use the stuff, but you may want to get in there and wipe things out before too long.

    How to ?

I had that happen to me with one of my old cars. Stunk like hell. It was only a small amount, not enough to remove, and I just let the crap burn off. I would imagine that a small propane torch would definitely soften it up so you can scrape off as much as you can. Then just let the exhaust...

UPS just delivered Mach1 chin, any install tips?

Remember that the plastic on the bumper cover is really soft. You'll drill through it before you know it...so go easy. (I know I'm probably too late with that one, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway.)

UPS just delivered Mach1 chin, any install tips?

If you have ramps or jackstands, use 'em. Trying to get a drill up into the bumper cover can be a little tight.

Mach 1 Grill Delete Install *pics*

LOL...I guess that's what I'm asking. :bang: More accurately, I was asking if the radiator piece could be purchased separately from the other two, since I'm already going to have them. Thanks for the info...and thanks to RandyStinchcomb for the clarification.

Mach 1 Grill Delete Install *pics*

I bought the 2-piece set on Ebay, and it's already on its way to me. Is it possible to buy the 3rd piece separately (like from a Ford dealer) if I want to add it later? BTW, I'm considering putting a custom emblem on instead of the pony. Oh, and what would be a good way to darken the...

New projector Lights for 99-04 Mustang

Oh...and I put in a chin, and I'm also doing the delete. It's not that I want to pretend it's a Mach, it's that I like how those things look on my car.

New projector Lights for 99-04 Mustang

I can see they look okay on bright colored cars, and also on black. What do y'all think about them on mineral gray? I'm leaning toward the black version, since I'm going for black trim in other areas.

Steering wheel shakes when brake is applied

Before you go totally crazy, I suggest that you first double-check your wheel balance on the fronts. I've seen that a very slight error in balance can go unnoticed until you hit the brakes.
