    Ideal 302 Roller Block Year?

The blocks prior to 92 were forged from the factory. 92+ were the hyperutectics (sp?) The blocks would be the same if you are planning on a full rebuild though.

Seat Risers Out Now What About The Pans

I also did just the pans and probably would have gone a full floor just for the ease of it, even though it would not have been necessary. I have plenty of pics for your reference. Let us know how it all goes.

Looking at buying this car. How much should I pay?

On this one... just for security sake... is it NOT a coupe/fastback conversion? There is no glass or anything, so its a question to ask. Let us know how it works out for you.

Would you let your child ride in your stang?

It just seems everyone is missing the point... normally, it is NOT us that makes the mistake in an accident, but someone else who is driving like they are on Pinks, or driving Miss Daisy, whatever! I finished my car, and was hit from behind 8 WEEKS after driving it the first time! I...

(Texas) DMV question?? can anyone help?

One of the first things they will tell you is to get a 'green' inspection. That is where you will take it in for an inspection and they will do a safety inspection and issue a green card for the card. Basically it is a check on the car to make sure all the VIN's, etc match. To get inspection...

    AOD effect

I have a set of 3.55's with my bone stock AOD and it runs just fine in the 70-75mph range. I have an EFI setup, so I avoid the infamous 2200rpm, which is about 70, so 75 is what I like and its quite a a bird. My last check put it at 21mpg and it is a ton of fun.

Would you let your child ride in your stang?

I agree that I drive better in this car, and especially when I have my little on with me. The only problem at this point is she is in a booster seat and the lap belt will hardly provide any protection for her at all. I am just looking for anyone who has done this and opinions on the retractor...

Would you let your child ride in your stang?

JonK. I take my daughter out in the weekend in my 67 and I have 3pts in the front. I have the 'booster' seat and she is 7. The seat belts work VERY well for her and have been contemplating the rear 3 points. Have you any mounting concerns with the 3 points? I called one company, and they...

    68 mustang powersteering bracket help!!!

I will have to dig out my pump from the attic with the brackets. Mine is a 67 289 car and I removed all the stock power steering pumps/brackets etc. Remind me as I will not be able to look tonight, and I will make it a good deal for you. Mark

What model is your car? I have an EFI pedal for our cars, but it is for a 67-8 NON AC car... I ended using the 89 pedal with some mods since mine does have the factory AC

    Shelby Hood?

No, they never gave me a mfg name... I ordered a ton from them at one time and got it all. It is full fiberglass (inner/outer). If I could get the steel frame, I would probably lean towards that one, as long as there are no bad effects on getting it all to seal together. The trunk was the...

    Shelby Hood?

I got mine from branda and the guy I talked with referenced it as the burgandy one. It fit very well and only sits a bit high in the center rear... other than that, I am very happy with it and did not have to cut anything on it.

    Underhood Paint Questions

I have pics of mine (which is painted the color of the car, and I am not mopar) but I chose because I came from fox bodies and sn95's which was the same color of the car. I almost swear the other guy posted a picture of my engine compartment... I guess we spent the same amount of time in...

how hard is it to convert an 8.8 rear end

It was amazingly easy.... you have to take some time in the angle measurements and then its just welding. I had to have a custom driveshaft made, but that was expected since I was installing an AOD with the conversion. Again, if you HAVE to buy one... I might go the disk brake option, but...
