    Headers

    SLP long tubes will be available soon. I have seen the hookers and was disappointed with the transition from the oval port to the round tube. Basically it was accomplished in about 1/2" and held weld boogers all inside the tube.

    If you go on SLP's sight they have dyno results showing a gain of about 30 rwhp for the headers/x-pipe/catback (260 rwhp total). So I would estimate about 15-20 rwhp for the x-pipe & catback without the headers. As far as the t/b & cai. You'll get some more gains but not huge. Maybe another 3-5...

    Exactly what white stang says should fix it. But you need to have ALL the clamps loose. Also remember that the driver side manifold has a ball flange so there is quite a bit of adjustment in it. So this should also be loosened before jacking it up at the X.

    The SLP headers do come with everything you need to install them...including the o2 wire extension harnesses. Not saying that accounts for the whole price difference but it needs to be factored in.

    Just to chime in I've run 13.80's at around 100 mph with 3.27 gears. That was with SLP LT headers, catted x-pipe & cat back. Nothing else.

    Yeah, you just swap out the head pipes and the LT's collectors go right into the cats. That's why they have clamps there instead of welding it.
