    Get a spring compressor and use it to shorten the distance. seems odd you would have to do this. These are new struts?

    I did mine this spring and they were fine. The strut should automatically extend, mine did anyway. The stock ones that were wore out, did it too.

    Wouldn't You mount it in the car? Why put it on the fuel rair... is it easier to do that? I want to put some guages in my car and this is one of the ones I was looking at.

    I bought a new one from Cantire for $99.99 and it came with a 5 year warranty. Easy install... if you have enough extensions for the top bolt! also... When mine went I was at the girlfriend had to bump start it and drive with an awful rattel(the starter internals had blew up!)! It was crazy!

    quick question about headers

    just get a cap for it... I dunno. Thats what I did when I took the smog stuff off my car. I put a cap on the opening. You might need something diff cause of the heat.
