    Just because the battery can start the car doesnt mean its OK. Its not strong enough to operate all the cars electronics properly. Probably time for a new one, and also inspect the cables and termials for corrosion.

    Whats impressive to me is the functional heat extraction vents. You could actually block off the ram air vents like 90% and sill have excellent air flow because of the heat extraction vents.

    You could put some tighter mesh screens behind the screens that are there now. That would slow down the air flow.

    I see what your sayin...... Google ( LED lighting strips } We have a 10 ft. strip at work that runs on a 9Volt Battery for a week.

    All this talk about finiky problems with the 5.0 cars is not makin me feel all warm and fuzzy about upgrading. My 06 is still rock solid. Ill wait till the smoke clears before I buy a 2012+

    All options on new cars cost extra. $250- sounds pretty reasonable to me. I mean you could save $250. by not getting factory floor mats and just buying them from AutoZone. Do BMW owners cry about the price of heated seats or dual climate controls.....:D

    The Hankooks are awesome. I had a deal worked out with Discount tire for 4 GY Eagle tires but when I got there they were the wrong size. They had the Hankooks in stock so I took em. They are ever bit as good as the Nitto 555's. Saved a bunch of $$$$.

    So I guess youll be driving an outdated design for 3 more years.... Its a very nice car, but if your tired of it??? I got 9k for my 04, and paid 17k for the 06. Only had to finance 8k since the 04 was in my name.

    Upgrade my 2003 GT

    I had the 99 and 04 GT's for 6 years loved them but got bored. My 06 is like driving a completly different car. The 5 speed automatic is a huge plus, add 40 more HP and a 3 valve engine ...... huge difference.
