Another II brought back from the grave...

Thanks, I don't know what year the fabric is from or if it is even an OEM fabric. Seems to me I recall seeing it on late 80's GT's. The pattern in the cloth is made up of the word "Mustang" over and over and over. I just saw it in the upholstry shops rolls of fabric and said THIS ONE!! :)

    Aluminum radiator for II?

I had Ron Davis Radiator build mine, I know they still have the template for it. If I remember it was around 300, On the spendy side but worth it. Cools the 351W like a charm even during parades in July! :) Ron Davis aluminum radiators for racing, offroad, performance street car, and other...

    A few more questions

Other than the above mentioned Brakes theres nothing wrong with the 8' axle. It is plenty strong even with a beefy Motor. I know of a couple of II's running full Slicks and 11 second ET's at the track on the 8' Rear End. I run the stock rear end, and it has clocked many many miles. (1/4 mile at...

    does anyone know the truth

True, if its a nice car buy it! However if it makes you feel better there were around 5000 T-Top cars each year out of 100,000 or so built so yea they are fairly rare or could be considered a low number built in comparison.

How to remove the center console?

Yes you have to remove the shifter handle, there is a small set screw that holds it on. There are also screws in the bottom of the glove box (Center console glove box) and at the very front of the console. (the front ones are a pain, use a stubby screwdriver) Once all the screws are out it lifts...

    T-top cars factory torque boxes?

My T-Top car has these, as well as the engine bay braces. I dont have a hoist to get a good shot of them but I'll see if I can get some decent shots putting it on ramps. Give me a couple of days and I'll post them in this thread.

    Fall / Winter Projects?

The Interior will be black on black, I'd like to do the seats like the 2+2's with a center cloth section in black and then black vinyl on the sides. The Engine will be the 2.8 V6 bolted to the C4. I want to keep the engine fairly mild as this is being built for my kids. However I am building it...
