    Collector size

    When running long tube headers, is it better to have a bigger collector(3")then put in a reducer or to have the collector the same size as the exhaust piping(2.5")?

    Things to know for installing new exhaust?

    watch the spacing between the driveshaft and the bracket for the fuel lines. We had to cut the bracket off and put them up higher in order to get my Magnaflow kit to miss the driveline.

    By full length you mean Long Tube right? If so, I have seen the BBK and another company called Pypes that make the X specifically for the long tube header that makes the rear connection at the stock location.

    Well, if I do get it to work, will the S/C benefit more from the Ram Air or will a fenderwell intake, or engine bay intake work just as well?

    Anyone else wake up at 2:40 this morning?

    It was a meteor that came in and the loud boom was a sonic boom from it. I was pulling into my apartment building coming home from work and saw and heard the whole 2 seconds of it. At first I thought it was fireworks, then an attack by the Al-Queada(sp?), then I saw it on the news today.

    Will a functional ram air kit and hood be a better setup then using a regular fenderwell intake? Also, will ram air fit with a S/C like the Kenne Bell for a 88 GT?

    thanks, i will definetly check that. What about maybe plugged fuel injectors and possible backing up of fuel in the fuel rails? Is it possible, or am I just dumb?

    After I turn off the ignition to my car, 88 GT 5.0, there is a really strong gas odor coming from the engine bay. Is this something wrong with the fuel side, or will a really bad exhaust leak on the X pipe cause that smell to?

    I have a 88 mustang that I recently purchased and when start it up in the morning or even if it has been sitting for a while and go to rev it up while it is in neutral, and it almost or sometimes dies when I give it anywhere from 1/4 to half throttle.     Loop hole in DEQ with DMV/DOT ????? Worth the try...IMO

    emmisions must be for you Puget Sound/I-5 corridor people because none have my vehicles have ever been tested nor have I recieved anything in the mal to get it done. Maybe I am just lucky. :D
