Questions on convertible rear panels removal, convertible hydraulic component replacement and convertible top replacement

What's the gist of the video? My vert leaks, one single drip at a time, onto the driver's side seat... I just put a towel there when it rains and it keeps the seat dry. I've been wondering if it needs adjustment somewhere or if it's just bad weatherstripping.

How much power can a 94 GT make if you don't change the look of the engine?

To be fair he called you an askhole not an Ahole. Askholes ask for advice and when confronted with reality they refuse to take it and just do what they were gonna do all along.

Questions on convertible rear panels removal, convertible hydraulic component replacement and convertible top replacement

Assuming you're looking at the set with the pads and both top pieces... Probably not a bad deal. I reused my pads but they were in so-so shape, and I was on a very tight budget and I chose to covert over to a one piece top to save additional money. Pads only take a few more minutes to replace...

The Next Warhorse: 1993 Mustang LX Autocross Build

Nice, was hoping that's the case, I have no idea what I'm doing in a few years if I have some money to actually put in the engine compartment but I'd love just a little more help going up hills. lol I do have a ranger header sitting in a box, just needed to source the bolts to go with it...

Questions on convertible rear panels removal, convertible hydraulic component replacement and convertible top replacement

Top replacement cost me $350 with the staple gun included... could have bought 3 tops and messed up two of them and still come out ahead of having a shop do it. :p

The Next Warhorse: 1993 Mustang LX Autocross Build

What kind of gains you reckon you can get out of the stock head with .460 -.500 lift cam? Or is it entirely pointless to upgrade the cam without head work? I’d be ecstatic if I could bump the power band up to 6000 RPM before investing in a worked head. And I’m not looking for anything crazy...

1995 GT Convertible = REGRET for my SWAP

Seems like you got exactly what you wanted, a donor car with most of what you need... what's left? Clutch, flywheel and bellhousing? Part out the carcass and come out with a decent deal on what you keep.

Questions on convertible rear panels removal, convertible hydraulic component replacement and convertible top replacement

As far as the top replacement goes, I watched a few Youtube videos and bought a top and an electric staple gun and knocked out the convertible top in about 10 hours all by myself. I have a couple vertical wrinkles in the sail panels, but it looks pretty decent. It was not an overly difficult...

The Next Warhorse: 1993 Mustang LX Autocross Build

Thanks, I poked around a bunch and nobody's confirming the pitch, but Ace does say 10mm, and they all look like coarse bolts so it looks like M10x1.5 is probably it.

The Next Warhorse: 1993 Mustang LX Autocross Build

While we're Q&A, I've been meaning to ask... do you know what the thread is on the block for the headers? There doesn't seem to be a good answer anywhere on the net for the 4-bangers... only 5.0's. I'm getting ready to swap the header out and will first be bolting it straight to the stock...

    93 Rear end whine

I don't ever remember hearing whine with the 4.10's in my GT back in the day... but it doesn't seem far fetched if it's not gratingly loud... may want to check fluid level and for any leaks... could pop the back cover and check for metal shavings and the general state of it... And that's about...

How much power can a 94 GT make if you don't change the look of the engine?

Ok I got it! Rear mounted turbo piped out into the fender and through a hollowed out cone filter and a loud exhaust to hide the spool… I swear guys it’s just a CAI and couple of Borlas. ;)

How much power can a 94 GT make if you don't change the look of the engine?

To hammer one other point that was previously made. It is very unlikely that you'll encounter anyone that even knows what they are looking at. If you don't change the upper intake, nobody will even understand it's modded... the most attention you'll get is from headers, but even then a lot of...

How much power can a 94 GT make if you don't change the look of the engine?

Good luck finding someone racing with a stock LS-1 F-body. lol Not that I don't appreciate a good sleeper.

    93 Cobra Power Upgrades Help

If all you are doing is tooling around town, not doing much highway driving... if you really want a kick in the pants just throw some 4.10's in it and be done. It will entirely wake up the acceleration... turn 1st gear into melt tires. Then if you ever want to turn back to stock put back in...

    Drivetrain Clutch pedal assembly questions....

I did exactly this and the fit was great, got a 3-hook quadrant and ratcheting firewall adjuster for under $30 IIRC. The triple hook is nice since there seem to be several different lengths of cables in the fox production run... I had to go to the second hook with my 4-banger because it's...

Cold Start Issue... ACT Sensor? '89 LX 2.3L (Update: Actually Fuel Pump Fun)

Yeah I was contemplating how to do something like this while doing it myself this time. I ended up putting a 2x10 edgewise up under one half and it helped a lot to stabilize but with two floor jacks it’s still rocking back and forth all over the place as I raise it into position and then you...

    I sold my foxbody!Considering buying this SN95!

I wouldn't say it's unmolested... it does have a steering wheel cover. But seriously. Looks clean. SN's are definitely better built than Foxes ever were... not to knock the versatility of the Fox chassis.
