    I met a painter thats gonna strip a '67 Notch for its drivetrain for his '65. I wonder how much its worth to keep the shell and build it in the future? Its rough. Someone planned to paint it, maybe that guy, and some spots are sanded to bare metal.

    Big blocks were optional in '67 so its doable. The exaust ports point down vs out to the side like 302s or 351s. Now if you're doing headers too maybe you want to notch something but you don't have to since the 390 was optional.

    if you just want the seat of your pants feeling look into doing gears. I'd at least look into putting the stock cobra setup even though you can't up the boost on it the way you can with the '03, '04 due to its heavier duty shortblock. My Saleen runs 10 psi stock on the 2v. Your compression...

    I saw everything but the cooling system/heat exchanger on ebay for cheap a week or two ago. And you end up with a lighter cobra because of the alumium block, although the rotating assembly can't handle as much boost.

    it might look odd to some people but I remember 10 years ago when I was in Greece they had a lot of German car magazines and they loved putting narrower tires on wide rims.

    no. I don't have a 6spd in my '04. Only the Saleen Extreme 281s got the 6 speed and a larger supercharger. I do have the center exit Magnaflow exaust though which is AWESOME.
