    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Lets start w/ TPS... I checked the black wire, and the ground is good. I also checked the orange vref wire and it shows 5.03 volts. Now, on the green wire(voltage signal) theres no voltage, i know the tps sensor is good bc i robbed it off of my other car. Anybody know where I can back track...

    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Ok, so heres an update...jrichter i hope your listening...anyways I pulled codes w/ an NGS and go this 22 63 10(separater code) 22 63 95. Now, the 22 code is a MAP/Baro greater/or less than desired...the 63 code Throttle position circuit out of range, and the 95 code is fuel pump secondary...

    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Tried the paper clip method for pulling codes, didn't work. I don't know if I'm doin it wrong or what, but tomorrow I'll grab the NGS star tester from work and try pulling em w/ that...

    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Ok, so i did the tests, and it came up to be that the computer's internal ground has failed. I swapped the computer outta my other car into this one, and still the same thing. It still misses and the check engine light is still on. I'm gonna see if it lets me pull codes...

    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Well, I've got an 1989 5.0 coupe w/ a stock coil, and that car doesn't miss at all. In the hatch that I'm having the problems w/ has a msd coil. I swapped the two and it didn't make a difference...So I'm pretty sure Its not the coil...

    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Well, the miss started kinda after I did an intake gasket on it, but It sat for like 3 months inbetween. Yes, the check engine light is on, but I can't pull codes. I used an NGS and it won't allow me too, some error message kept comming up, I tried to flash the codes out and that wouldn't work...

    Misfire at high rpm...help...

Ok, so I've got a high RPM miss w/ my 89 hatch. It's an 89 hatch, 306, blah blah. It seems like when it's cold it misses quite a bit, but when it's warmed up it still misses, but less. 99 percent of the misses are at highter rpm ie 3k and up, but its not consistant. I've gone over alot of...

    Rocker nuts keep breaking...HELP!!??

No, well not exaclty. The combustion chamber wasn't sealing, and that allowed the cylinder to become washed down due to oil flow through the broken valve guide. Eventually enough carbon bent the valve, or thats what I'm assuming what happened

    Rocker nuts keep breaking...HELP!!??

Thanks for the info...Do you think a stud girdle would be worth adding? To keep the rockers from flexing at high rpm?

    Rocker nuts keep breaking...HELP!!??

The valve they replaced was replaced because of excessive carbon buildup due to a broken valve guide, which caused the valve to bend. I have only had the TFS stage 2 cam in for a few months now, and before I had a much smaller cam, not sure which one... How would i measure this radial clearence?

    Rocker nuts keep breaking...HELP!!??

The rockers are the ford racing A351's and their 1.6 ratio. The nuts are poly locks and I got them from comp cams. I'm not sure what u mean by radial clearence on the rockers, and the valve springs are 10 years old, from trickflow. I don't know what size the pushrods are, but I just used the...

    Rocker nuts keep breaking...HELP!!??

Yes, I do have 3/8th studs, and the heads were just red done with a full valve job, and one of the valves were replaced. If i had P/V clearence, then wouldn't that be evident on all the valves, not just one or two...The poly locks do thread a ways onto the stud, so i don't think that could be it...
