    05 gt hood shake?

    I have a very slight shake at higher speeds from the center edges. The hood is matched perfect to the fenders. The only adjustment I see is at the front. I think part of the issue is the hood is aluminum & the center is not supported.

    Break In Question....

    Don't change the oil when you get it. It needs the blended oil to help set the rings, etc. You can vary your engine speed by using the trans. If auto go in & out of the OD position & manual between 4&5. Vary your mph as much as you can. Your going to find the car wants to cruise at 90 with...

    The Motorcraft 5w-20 is not full synthetic. It is a blend.

    FYI Manual says refill is 6 quarts, did not mention extra for filter. My (GT) car took 6.5 to fill with the filter. Synthetic oil is the only way to go. I get close to 200k on my cars before I sell them & never any problems.

    1200 Miles in 7 business days. Changing oil this weekend to Mobil 1 0W-20 & Ford 820s filter. Broke her in like I stole her.

    Car feels great at turn in & off the apex. I'm in the NE & our roads suck. No hop or bouncing around. Car absolutely feels like it is on rails.

    Like the rims. I think you can have the stock bullitt's chromed for less then Ford wants for optional.
