going back to mechanical fan, stock clutch type or straight mechanical??

if its a thermal clutch (stock replacement) than it grabs or releases based on temp. when the coil in the middle gets hot it tightens it's grip. non-thermal clutches grip at low rpms but not at high rpms.

going back to mechanical fan, stock clutch type or straight mechanical??

get the clutch fan. otherwise it will sound like you're driving a big fan down the road.

    Seen something intresting tonight...(dumps)

i tried that on my GT...it didn't make much difference if any. not sure why it works so well on dumps; maybe more velocity, maybe there's just more room under the car for sound to bounce around  . i bet its because the dumps are closer together than the tailpipes.

is this enough for 275 hp.

TMoss has a good tech article that discusses the amount of horsepower possible w/ ported stock parts. the best thumper E7 combo made ~280. i really doubt you'll top that.

    Dogbone

its about 10lbs. in theory, removing it can cause some vibration at certain speeds (i heard 80mph:rolleyes: ). in reality, i have had no issues with vibrations at all with mine removed. in fact i've never heard of anyone who put theirs back on.

    Stalling on deceleration?

most likely your IAC valve (on the frontside of the TB) needs to be cleaned or replaced. take it off and spray carb cleaner in it. let it dry out and reinstall. the vehicle speed sensor is also utilized in the "strategy" for preventing stalling on deceleration.

    Surging Idle

the cylindrical thing on the frontside of your throttlebody is the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). it is responsible for preventing stalls when coming to a stop and also it keeps the idle steady. you probably just need to remove it and clean it out with carb or throttlebody cleaner. if that...

Pulling codes 44 and 94 KOER

Secondary Air Injection Inoperative: 44 for passenger side, 94 for driver side did you let the car warm up first? are the vacuum lines hooked up properly to the smog equipment? it could be that your crossover pipe (on the back of the heads) is clogged, along with the ports that it connects to.

    rough idle, losing hope.

or you could run the KOER with the clutch pushed in

loss of power at full acceleration??

yep, i forgot about those. 12 and 13 are for idle. sometimes caused by a clogged or faulty IAC, most of the time the idle is not in the proper range. since you've replaced the IAC already, you might want to make sure your idle is set properly. also make sure your throttlebody plate moves...

    Speedometer cable and loping

besides the thin metal clip that holds the speed sensor to the cable, there is a large clip that bolts onto the tranny and holds the speed sensor assembly and cable in place. in the picture it is the bracket attatched to the speed sensor.

loss of power at full acceleration??

what year is your vehicle? IIRC, there is not (at least for 86-93) a code for IAC. what code did you get?

Loosing power @ WOT above 3000 RPM - need help

86-93 are 2-digit codes, 94-95 are 3-digit codes. also, there is no code 133. i suggest to try again per these instructions, or buy a code scanner, as the 3-digit codes are a bit harder to read.
