    there is a ford color that is a charcoal color and the paint code is UJ. There is a darker charcoal and the paint code is CX. Both of the colors are ford colors, if you want to keep it a ford color. In my opinion i would do white or black... I just dont think any other color looks good with red...

    but ive heard that a 347 will wear the engine out faster and i believe the rod pin is so high on the piston that it is in the rings... ive heard there could be problems with that setup

    Yeah i have rebuilt a couple of motors and have done the plasti gage with my dad... i believe i can do the assembly work just not the machining cuz no tools... i do have a degree in mechanics... Where would be a good place to start looking for a 331 stroker kit?

    im not sure what my budget will be.... probably whatever work i can do on the side but i had a figure of maybe $2000... i will probably be buying it part by part... So would say 351c heads on a 302 is more of a race type? Im probably leaning towards not doing it anyways....

    I have a 65 coupe with a 302. I have a spare 289 just sitting and will be aquiring a 351. Which one would you choose to put in there? Im thinking of getting a set of cleveland heads and make a boss 302 or stroking the 302 and making a 331 or something along those lines. Deffinatly not giving up...
