Anybody use these Taurus 3.8 replacement fans?

I just pop-riveted two "L" aluminum angles on the top of my shroud where the factory bolts go and drilled for the stock mounting bolts and then used a cutoff wheel to slot the bottom of the shroud to accept the stock mounting clips - the shroud was a perfect fit on my stock 2-core radiator.

    CFM flow rating question

If you want to keep the GT40 for some reason, it's needs a full on port of the lower - that will put it at ~250cfm which is still a little shy of the ~275cfm flow potential of those heads, but if your not chasing peak power it should work well. I'd ruin no less than a 70mm TB which is the size...

electric fan with coolant sensor ???

I don't see a problem with that - you don't need a fan until the water is up to temp anyway.

    holley intake

spacers are often used in carb intakes to add plenum and you have the added benefit of potential shaping to smooth air transitions to the runners.

    holley intake

Wow, we could talk a lot about what we feel affects this. It has been shown empirically that if you add plenum to an intake and dyno the car, it will make more power by adding plenum. Problem is, once you reach an "optimal" point on plenum size for the particular combination of parts you have...
