    Roush 427R can't break 13s?

I am NOT talking about a Stage 3 or Hammer. I can't afford either one of them, therefore I do not care. I AM talking about the 427R.

    Roush 427R can't break 13s?

I'll give'em a call. I went to Roush's website and it mentioned that with the 435 hp you would still be covered under the factory 3yr/36k warranty, but with the 540 hp you would not. I've been to a few dealerships and at each one I visited, I've gotten a different story. They really need to...

    Roush 427R can't break 13s?

I can't afford to own a brand new car that won't have a warranty. Thanks for the info, but I was talking about the model with an advertised 435 hp. :)

    2010 Camaro

The GT was a hot car, but it was too big. It needed to be smaller like the size of a Corvette C6. Despite the technological advantages that the GT had, it still couldn't hand a Z06 its ass. Tghat additional 300 lbs made a big difference. IMO, the GT is the hottest looking domestic car of...

    2010 Camaro

I think Ford should leave the GT where it is, and move forward with a throw-back to the '65 Daytona Coupes.

Ok. Whatever you say. You missed my point (twice). I'm tired of trying to explain myself. Whatever you say.

Yes, you certainly do get both points! :nice:

I don't think you get it. You just totally over-ran 3rd base. We'll just move on. Mmmkay?

    2010 Camaro

I'm not going to argue with whether you understood what I was saying (you didn't). As far as being better because it has more horsepower, no. What you have is a case of what's going to be a $48k car making more power than an $80k car. Horsepower is a status symbol. The Corvette is GM's...

You so totally missed the point, man. :)

    2010 Camaro

There's just something wrong about a world class performer like the Corvette Z06 making less horsepower than a Camaro Z28. In fact, 556 hp would hand the Z28 a higher horsepower level than a Porsche GT2 and Ferrari's F-430 replacement! ...And it's all just too damned bad it'll be in a...

    2010 Camaro

Ya wanna know what's scary is the fact that even though this Camaro weighs 3900 lbs and won't touch one, a 556 hp Z28 will be making 51 more hp than the Z06, a car that I would give both my nuts for.

    2010 Camaro

I'll buy the Corvette. The base price on them is about $46k. It'll have over 430 hp, it'll weigh 1000 lbs less, handle MUCH better, and it'll actually look good! Yeah, I'll go put in my order for a brand new $50k Camaro right now!

It better be that fast! Remember, it has to outrun those Hyundai Genesis cars that Ford is so scared of! :rlaugh:

If you ran a 13.97 in the 1/2 mile, I think I'm going to go order my new 2010 GT TODAY! :rlaugh:

*video* Bone stock 2010 GT-500 runs [email protected]

Yes, that was rubber on the sides of the vehicle so rubber didn't get up all over the fenders. I'd say that those times would probably be normal for new GT500 with traction. They're heavy cars.

    6-speed Powershift

+1. I'm not interested in an automatic of any sort. If I want to drive a car with an automatic, I'll drive either my Camaro or my wife's new A3 Quattro.

    2010 Camaro

The rear brakes are larger than the fronts? Any idiot knows that the front brakes do the majority of the stopping...well, obviously except for GM. No wonder they went under... It's pretty screwed up that if they're trimming weight, they're going to trim it on a vehicle that's pretty much...
