    if you do the 460 conversion which is very possible, make sure you do alot of body work as in strength wise and also I have seen the C6 take all kinds of abuse with motors make 800+ that is NA. A C6 can handle the power if it is built right. Dont buy aftermarket C6 find one out of a junk yard...

    Some of you guys might not know this but most over the counter alcohol will leave a residue, I would suggest using cleaners that are made for cleaning lenses and sensors, and other electrical equipment. and also a q tip so if you do use alcohol make sure it doesnt leave residue. try wiping it...

    Yeah if you go that route all you have to do is replace the pump with a piece of fuel line its generally pretty easy or you can also buy new a cradel with out the fuel pump where it is just the lines from granetelli. for future ref when you do the external pump.

    I pretty much popped mine out with a screw driver and popped the billet ones in as long as the prongs are lined up it should be a breeze but I have to warn you when your old one come out they more then likely break the prongs off

    If you want to keep it below 6000 RPM I would get a set 373 gears. got to love cruise speed of 2500 rpms and killer bottom end and good top end.

    Personally cutting a hole aint a bad Idea but make it like a access panel like they do with aircraft. But to actually cut the hole with the tank mounted would very stupid it takes less then 15 minutes to drop a tank and install it. now it would take longer to change a pump but not much longer.

    Well it runs like a top, but unfortunately I will be building a new motor for it next month so i wont see it. I also have a 86 Ford f150 5.0 with 180,000 runs great and an 84 Dodge D250 318 with 280,000 still runs good it is all in how you take care of your vehicles

    If I was you I wouldnt buy anything from autozone especially electronics. If you wanted a good stater I would buy a ford stater, or a borg warner from Oreillys or even look at buying a reman distributer like one of the replys you got but dont buy from autozone. the napa staters are also good

    Wow that make all kinds of sense. I am not to familiar with the 4.6 stuff I am a 5.0 guy but I did see a radiator hose on it so that has to be it thanks a bunch you saved the day.
