Try this link. It looks like you can get the SN95 94-95 package for abou the same price and you won't be limited on your wheel selection. Plus, this setup is much more upgradeable. http://www.stangparts.com/products/list.cfm?Page=1&TypeID=22 Cheers

Installing Subframe conn on 87 Convertable

Usually, the ford bracing goes when you weld in aftermarket subs. The pop rivet stuff doesn't really do anything to help stiffen the car anyway. The subs I use are the Western motorsports tubular subframes. They are very stiff and virtually indestructable...

Lets see what you did with your door panels, if dyed, what did you use?

If you're careful, you can dremel off the tabs on the back of the speaker grill mounting points (obviously once the door panel is off) and use self tapping screws to reattach the grills to the door. Thats what I did and they're more secure than they were before...

Lets see what you did with your door panels, if dyed, what did you use?

I did mine with a product called VHT. You have to let it Dry completely for at least a day but its been indestructable after that. I sewed a new map pocket out of leather for the bottom of the door. I also did the glove box and the panel under the steering wheel with Krylon and adhesive...

    gummed up piston rings? (reslin?)

Hey Custom 89, I think your Mechanic is probably referring to Rislone. You should be able to get it at Pep boys or any autostore. (maybe even Walmart) Unfortunately I've never used it before so I don't know how well it works. Alan

    Heater core nightmare

Mustang monthly had a really good tech article on doing it. I used it when I did mine. It was way better than the Haynes manual. It took me about 5 hours. It's a PITA but the money you save makes it worth it. Her is the link to the article http://www.mustangmonthly.com/howto/5652/ Good luck

79-90 GT with 17" rims... Help.

PM me and I'll send pics. Fitment was good with 245x45x17, but I had to use a special center cap with the wheels I chose. (The wheels were concave in the middle and the hub stuck out too far on the front wheels. This is not an issue with the Cobra knockoffs) I also had to notch about an 1/8 of...

    Quietest Free Flowing Muffler

I use 3 chamber Flowmasters. The part that made the biggest difference for me was using an offroad X pipe instead of an H (BBK) I run long tubes and the Xpipe with the three chambers and my car sounds stock unless I lean on it. I live in suburbia and work really late on the weekends so I...

    87-90 with 17x9's all around ??

I'm running 245x45x17 (17x9 rims) all the way around and they work fine on my 1990 convertible. but I had to notch the control arms on the front to keep the inside of the tire from rubbing at full lock. I just used a dremel and took out about 2 Millimeters. (sorry 1/8 of an inch). My car is...

    90 limited vs 98 cobra

I have to go with the Cobra as well. I drive a 7up car and I love it, but IMO there is really nothing all that special about 7up cars. The colour is available on later Fox bodies and the only other differentiating characteristics are the white leather interior and the GT turbine wheels...

    thermostat ?

Thermostat Running a 160 degree thermostat will be too cold. when the car is running that cold it is also running extremely rich. This can equate to more horsepower, but it will also cause cylinder washing and fouled plugs. Even if gas mileage is not an issue to you, the health of your engine...
