    It all depends on how much HP you want. 500HP with a small block and you'll spend alot of $$ to get a better block.. the BB will handle 800, upgrade the main caps and you're looking at 1000+ In the end, you need to decide what you want..and how much you want to spend.. remember you'll need...

    15" 10 hole rims + stock studs: Long enough for slicks?

    It doesnt have to stick out past the lug, just the diameter of the stud past the wheel.. 1/2". But, I've also been told by a tech guy that since they use a wedge style lug that it was ok... I think the studs stick through far enough either way.

    It is alot easier with the console out.. I think I had to tilt the back up then turn it sideways... Did you try http://vb.foureyedpride.com/index.php Someone there probably has it down.. it's been awhile since I put in mine.

    Talk to Byron http://www.racesystems.com/ and see how car he's come with the EFI BB setup.. You need to find out what year the 429 is, that will tell you if it's worth it or not..

    Go to www.460ford.com , might look at the engine builds section. Also check out http://www.reincarnation-automotive.com/index.html and talk to Scott.. he has alot of iron head options, including porting one set of ports so you can match the rest. Great guy to deal with too. :nice:

    It was getting fairly busy when I left today... took about 100 pics.. I'll post them when I get a chance. Sure were alot of 427 SOHC powered cars there. :nice: The rusty coupe was at $1500 this morning.. not sure if it's worth it.. wasnt much that wasnt rusted..
