    it could really be a number of things. Plugs, wires, TPS is bad or needs cleaning, timing, etc... when it was happening to me, it was my plug wires.

    arent kenne bell superchargers blowers? I mean I was looking at some, but I dont want a big huge blower under the hood. Somethign about the size of the SC's on the 03-04 cobras. I love carbed cars, no limiters (gov, rev, speed)

    89, those are some pretty good lookin tires on ur car man. Im running dumps on my LX right now. Its so loud. I guess cuz ive gotten used to it, but its like a constant buzzing noise. Id suggest tails.

    see i took it out of my V8 car. when it was in there, it read speeds perfectly. But in my 4 it wont. I dunno, so its a bad speedo.

    and dont forget to check the plug wires and the bolts on the egr valve. thats what caused mine to bog

    im in the process of doing this now. Well, ive just put the 140mph speedo in and it only reads speeds correctly up tp 60 without that black thing on the needle (its a weight), and with the weight on , when I was stopped completely, it redd 10mph. I dunno, i was doing this in my 4 cylinder. But...

    tighten the bolts on the EGR valve. Either that, or give it more gas when turning into something.

    im not talking about the tach. I got a speedo cluster from a 5 liter. I took the speedo out. and took the speedo out of my car and put that one in. Its white faced yes, but my STOCK tach is still there. I took off the lil weight or whatever it is, the lil black thing on the end of the needle...

    Idle Problems

    hahaha.. I had this exact same problem with my 2.3. I think its the EGR valve (this oval looking thing by the intake manifold). Ther ewas a bolt that was loose in it, so I think it was letting air in or out. But I tightened it back up, and never had that problem again.

    well I just recently cured that problem. Mine was misfiring uber bad. it was my wires. They had gotten burned. So I replaced the wires with some from napa, with that gel you put in them, and now, there is not a sign or a problem at all.

    Well I too have the best of both worlds. 2.3T and 5.8L I have to say, they are a blast to drive both. 2.3 for those rice boys who think the thing's slow, and that 5.8 for those who rev at me at a stop light.

    lol, thats funny. Man, I have so many 5.0 kill stories til it aint even funny. I had my pipes cut off and i have the muffler tucked way under so u cant see it. I love it, they rev at me at the stop light, and I wait for them at the next.
