    Just go with a sedate sounding cam and paint your intake black. Other than the noise mine makes it's hard as crap to see the ally heads and the eddy intake doesn't stick out at all bein a sorta dull black.

    I painted my intake over a year ago and the paint heat wise has held up fine. I've chipped it, and it's sort of dulled due to a lack of clear, but I like the look.

    Intake swap - time and difficulty?

    First time took me a couple days mostly due to having to wait to get fittings or crap like that b/c I bought a used intake to get my vaccuum fittings. I could do the swap in 2-3 hours easy now if everything was laid out waiting.

    Spec 1 clutch??

    My stage 1 is a good clutch if it would stop damn chattering. It performs very well at the strip, the 1 slips enough to give a street tired 5.0 fox a hell of a holeshot when done correctly. Not sure if some oil got on the clutch or if the flywheel wasn't resurfaced or if it's in the clutch itself.

    Good point. The stock suspension is good enough for a street tired h/c/i, you just have to relearn it. SFC's would be the only thing I'd add at this point other than stickys and skinnies, traction wise.

    test & tune times

    Try launching at 3-3500rpm and slip the clutch as your rolling in the throttle. I can cut 1.9x's-2.0s all day on cheap street tires doing that on a not so sticky track with stock suspension. You'll just have to get the feel of how much throttle and clutch slip to give it.
