    Halo Headrest Dimensions

Yes, they are taller. I have 2002 seats in my car, and put the 2002 headrests on the rear, 86 Escort GT halos up front. I'll measure them and post back.

    brake booster

Mike, I thought I've said this before, but I have a practically new 2002 V6 booster and it has the same curved rod like the Fox ones. They must have changed it back at some point. I just haven't installed it yet, need to get busy and do it soon.

    sn95 conversion....i have a complete 96 cobra setup...can i use those front lines or.

You have the 96 spindles, rotors, calipers & lines? Yes you can use the Cobra lines, but you will need an adapter fitting for the passenger side where it attaches to the car since all the SN95 lines are smaller on that side than the Fox hard line. Some of the parts stores have them, it is a...

Water damage progress thread (Lots of pictures)

Looks REALLY good! I had my seat bottom "posed" for about 4 years until I finally got off my lazy @$$ and fixed it properly. The buckles did a good job of holding it in place, but I couldn't let Mike finish his interior before I finished mine! LOL! That is not too bad for the clips. I...

Water damage progress thread (Lots of pictures)

Look at my thread I posted above. I have a lot of pics of my install I did about 5 years ago. It really is just as easy as Prime Lord said on the seat backs. Hardest part is cutting the backing for the latch opening. You did the "proper" welded in metal mods for the seat bottoms on hack...

Water damage progress thread (Lots of pictures)

I pulled mine from an 03 Mach 1 a friend was parting out, but any SN95 should have the clips. A dealer should have them but at a $10+ price I bet! I would use a cut 2x8 or even 2x10 if I did it again. Look back at my pics and you can see the gaps on the outer edges. That can be taken up with...

Water damage progress thread (Lots of pictures)

Looks good, but might I suggest you put the center pivots for the back seat backs INSIDE the seat cushion? I did mine that way, and so did Mike - Mustang5L5, and the seat backs meet a lot closer in the center with virtually no gap. And have you seen my pics on the seat bottom install? They...

Water damage progress thread (Lots of pictures)

I think they will clear the console, but the male belt part of the seatbelt buckle from a fox will not fit the later model female parts. I tried it. I actually have all of the seatbelts from a 2003 Cobra that I hope to be able to make work on my car someday.

The fourth wire, (top right spot in my picture above) is for the seatbelt buckle that is mounted on the 2001 seat, so you do not need it.

    crank bolt.... really WTF!!!

I've done it twice, had no problems bumping it loose with a 3/4" rachet and breaker bar in the parking lot at work. The balancer busted just as I was pulling into the parking lot. Had my wife bring my tools and stuff, swapped the balancer out in about an hour or so. :D Sure beat a $150 tow bill.

    Back from Paint!

Looks very good! Keep it badgeless! That color is my second favorite color on a Fox, first being my medium cabernet.

    17x10.5 vs 18x10 Bullitts

LOL! Yes, those are 18" wheels. 18x10s fit better than 17x10.5s. It is a local friend's car he just finished painting and I helped him get his brake setup figured out. Stock length axles and 18x10 wheels in the rear with 295/30ZR18 rear tires. More pics of the wheel fitment: And...

    hatch cover

The 90-93 shades are about 48-1/2" wide. I just gave away my old 87 shade, so I don't know the dimensions.

Putting A/C back in my 5.0 - what do i need to do it right for 134a?

Mike, I put a complete r134a AC system in my car last year, and finally got it working (found the #$%^& leak) a couple of months ago. I went with the 94-95 condenser in the hope that it would cool better, but so far I haven't worked out the kinks. The condenser is physically larger than the...

    Removing gauge needles?

I've read where people have used a fork to pry the needle off of the pin before. It puts equal leverage on both sides while you pry up on it. Good luck!

    A/C woes. Help!

I'm in NW Houston, beltway & 290, work by downtown. I have a 94 condenser I shoehorned into the front looking for better cooling, and it works OK in the heat when the car is moving. Cool, but not cold during the heat of the day, but way better than the no AC I had for 4 years. During the...

    A/C woes. Help!

I bet it did mess up the sort order. I sorted it by price, the reman compressors were on pg 8, the new ones on pg 9. It is the YC35 one for factory air, it is also the same as 6p148a. I got mine at a discount for about $230 through our Mustang club. Is your old clutch still OK? I just...

Anything to replace the actual ashtray with on a '87-93 besides a switch panel?!

I put in a change holder from a Lincoln or Turbocoupe, I don't remember which. It has the spring loaded spots for quarters, dimes & nickles. It fits pretty well, just had to cut one of the tabs on the bottom and then I hot glued it to the plastic that the ashtray sat in. That way I can remove...

    A/C woes. Help!

I went through the same thing last year. Bought new hoses and planned to flush my system, ended up having a busted condenser. Got a new condenser and then my previously good used compressor locked up! So I had to get a new one. I got a new Motorcraft one from O'Reilly Auto Parts - Home at my...

6 days of the new hatch and this happens.

One reason I have TWO visible theft deterrants whenever I park my car someplace I don't feel safe with it. I have a Club for the steering wheel and the UnBreakable brake lock. The know they will have two items to defeat before driving it off, and most likely they will pass. Plus I pull my...
