    Scott Drake makes the ones that have "4.6" on top. Since the original ones had the CI displacement and not the liters I bought some "289" ones and am in the process of changing the 9 to a 1. Been doing it for a while - it's been one of those "when I don't have anything better to do things"...

    Ya know, I could understand the Ferrari kits for the Fieros....Ferraris are expensive and rare. S197s are a dime a dozen and not any more expensive than any other car. That and I've seen Ferrari kits that looked a lot less cheezy than the above mentioned Mustang kit...

    Someone might correct me otherwise but i believe they are the same calipers just with different mounting brackets to compensate for the different size rotors.

    One thing I forgot to mention...when I did mine (Bullitt calipers-same as Cobra only red with a pony) I pulled off my rears and painted them to match. Since I had all 4 corners off I got a set of Speedbleeders. I'm thinking they were around $35 shipped and they made bleeding the brakes A LOT...

    I believe the glasses are only effected by UV light which is why they're not effected by incadecent bulbs indoors. And quite the reverse, the auto-dimming mirrors that don't dim with sunlight but do with headlights. Mustang5L5, I think you're on to something, my friend :rolleyes:

    They're a work in progress. I believe Scott Drake (maker of A LOT of repro. items for older Stangs) makes the running pony emblem with a 4.6 on top. However, since the original cars only had cubic inches I opted not to get those. Instead I got a pair of 289s that had mis-painted bars on them...

    Using touch-up paint..

    +2 for sanding. It might not be a bad idea to check under the molding over the door and the seal around the windshield to make sure there's no rust under there. The molding is just preventative but if there's rust around the windshield it can get pretty ugly (not just looks but leaking problems).
