    Sure it can be done if you find a shop willing. The law says your not to remove a functioning cat. Even though you are replacing it with a cat, some shops are finiky about the law.

    K&n cai

    I would replace the K&N cone filter with a dryflow from AEM. Indeoendant testing has shown that K&N filters don't filter well, thier flow is great, but they let too much dirt through. Also the dryflow doesn't require oiling, ford mafs hate oil on them as we all know.
