    MGW Shifter Install Question...

    Thats the grommet that seals the factory boot to the MGW shaft I thinks more for noise suppression than anythig else . I don't think would hurt to leave it out if you need to drive it . I would call MGW and see if they would send me one though.

    shifter recommendation

    MGW is really quiet for an aftermarket shifter, great positive feel, shorter throw, and adjustable. Only time I have missed a gear is just being lazy cruising.

    Are you sure the sounds not coming from your power steering pump? If it has a leak and the fluid level gets low they can make alot of noise when cutting the wheels lock to lock. Just somthing easy to check, if its low add fluid and see if it helps.
