how do i convert my turbo coupe rearend to 5-lug...

Why can't you use the Mazda rotor with the brackets you have? Are you afraid the center bore is too large on the Mazda rotor? Actually, those rotors are 7 hole and one slot :p

how do i convert my turbo coupe rearend to 5-lug...

This company sells a TC rotor that is drilled for 4 & 5 lug, but I'm not sure what axles one would use as I thought the hub and flange were a larger diameter on the SN95 axles - http://www.breezeautomotive.com/details.php?prod_id=353&cat_id=1

    MSD COIL BUZZ

The Accel EFI performance coil doesn't make any noise. You don't really need a performance coil unless you are using a power adder & an ignition box. I suppose if you buy it because it's clean & red & an easy bolt on, then you are stuck with the noise. Seems kind of silly to me.

Help me create the "Surging Idle Checklist"

Sorry, it makes no difference if the TPS is above or below 1V at idle, so long as it is not below 0.5V or above 1.2V within the ECU. This means that a measurement of 0.8V - 1.1V will leave you WAY within the acceptable range. The ECU zeros to whatever voltage it sees at closed throttle, so it...

Help me create the "Surging Idle Checklist"

The TPS being below 1V makes no sense from the ECU point of view. Any setting between 0.8 - 1.1V will be seen as "0" my the ECU. I don't know where or how this rumor started, but it is not supported by the code in EEC-IV.

    wheel hop question

That's an internet myth with no factual basis. I've heard it repeated a dozen times but never backed up, but I have read a lot of accounts of people who wonder why they have wheel-hop after removing the quad-shocks. They are there to dampen wheel-hop and even aftermarket control arm rears...

Need input on Crane Hi-6S CD Ignition & Coil Kit

lol - the Hi-6 is 1200 mJ at low (idle) RPM when it fires 10 times per stroke, at above 3k or so it's 120mJ as it fires only once. Deceptive advertising there...

    polishing brackets

It may be cheaper than billet, but you can't cast pure aluminum - it's way too sticky. Machined billet brackets would be way too expensive for a car maker. BTW polishing novices - DO NOT take off too much material when working with castings - if you do you may expose small air bubbles just...

    polishing brackets

Well, I design castings for a living so maybe I do know about casting grade aluminum.

    polishing brackets

These sort of surface imperfections are common in casting grade aluminum that has a lot of impurities added to aid in flow (filling the casting) & release from the casting (lubricants). It is in no way indicative of the quality of the metal.

Should I move ACT sensor out of lower intake?

People with SN95's & superchargers do the opposite - they move the ACT to the lower intake. They do this so the ACT will see the hot air from the supercharger - then they can reprogram the ECU to pull timing at high temperatures to prevent detonation. If you don't have a supercharger, moving...

Pulling rear wheel bearings and seals

Yep, get the slide hammer and bash away on it 'till your arm is exhausted :D If you vary the angle slightly as you are slide-hammering, you can make sure the bearing race doesn't get canted & wedged making it much harder to get out...

    80mm C&L MAF meter

There are two sensors - one for a 55mm & the other for a 70mm - they are marked AFH55 or AFH70. It's likely that you got the correct sensor. It's weird that the original sensor worked but the replacements don't (if I understand you correctly) - reminds me of how I decided I'd put a nice new...

Tranny Leaking from Output Shaft after 2 seal changes

The bushing is pressed into the tailshaft housing - it can't "fall out". If you do have the play with the yoke in there, the bushing may be bad. It has to be pulled & pressed in - it's not a simple job.
