    sometimes you can bang on the motor and it will start to work a little. My Crown Vic did this with the drivers window, beat the hell out of the door panel and it started coming up slowly, got me through the nest 2 rainy days until I could replace it.

In 94 BW/Tremec started using a syncronized reverse gear and the tailshaft for 93 and prior are different and are not machined for the syncro.     it will drape over to the pass side. When I installed my engine after destroying the last one, that is what I did... No problems.
