    1966 coupe restoration

One is an aftermarket replacement that I put on several years ago after a wreck. The other is original, however the body shop says that it had been repaired at one point. They will both be good as new after this.

    1966 coupe restoration

I recently took my 1966 coupe to a local shop for restoration. Thought you may be interested in watching along with me at the progress. I basically pulled most of it apart before I sent it to him. He will be doing the body work and paint. Possibly some of the reassembly. We will see how...

Find TDC and mark your balancer at your current timing pointer and go on. You can get tape to remark it cheap. Summit SUM-163594 - Summit® Timing Tape

How do I change gas tank sending unit?

Like he said. You don't have to take the tank out, but as it sits in the car, it is on the bottom. It is on the opposite side from the filler neck, so if you do take the tank out you are probably losing all your gas anyway.
