    Your MPH is very low start with a tuneup. Since when does a X pipe go by the oil pan or have problems clearing the oilpan? It seems like something is not right down there.

    There are two metal tabs on each side in the middle. You have to pry those parts back and you can slide the stereo forward. I've done it. It isn't that hard. Sony didn't come with tools. You had to pry it yourself

    302,306,331,347?

    You could do a 302/306 but it would take more to get there. The easiest way to get to your goal would be a 347. Figure around 350hp with a good setup on pump gas conservatively and put a 100shot on it and you have your goal. You probably should have chosen a different transmission for your combo.

    Electrical Gauges, Mechanical Gauges, I need help deciding please.

    I'd go with the electrical if you want an easy install and know about electricity. Stated before was that electrical gauges do not work while the car is off. You can always put them into a voltage source that is on all the time and they will read. They don't take much power to run them...

    It doesn't matter when you remove the spout. It is a jumper for the computer that allows the CPU to adjust the timing. You can remove it at any point and it will not make a difference. Do yourself a favor and go down under the car and mark the harmonic balancer with white paint where you want...

    dss motors good or bad

    From what I've heard mixed reviews people who have had problems with there motors. (A few that I've heard of). Have had there problems taken care of frmo DSS. DSS also builds dart block shortblocks for the people who are saying just go with a DART.

    how do you do it

    Best to do with a forced induction if you do not want to go to the 351+ engine. A big turbo on a 331 with a small shot of nitrous could do it. Either way you plan on doing it, it is going to cost you an arm and a leg.

    It is the catalytic converters that are making it quiet. If you get rid of them it will be much much louder.

    Massachusetts doesn't charge you anything for windshields. Your insurance takes care of them for no charge against you.

    how to wire factory foglights so car wont burn?

    My 2001 Explorer does the same with the foglights turning off with highbeams but I can leave foglights and parking lamps on solely. You have to rewire the power lead for the foglights to a different +12V sourse in the car that isn't only activated by the headlights.

    Which heads for upper rpm power

    I'd go with the Twisted wedge. Plus they are great heads when you get them ported. I've seen a few cars running them going 9s or 10s untouched.
